Stanley Morrison is a self-taught fantasy artist who has been drawing anything he could imagine since childhood. Besides being a fantasy artist Stanley works fulltime at an art manufacturer, which wholesales to the furniture industry, as their art director. He has designed and produced art for furniture companies such as Rooms-to-Go, Havertys, Matter Brothers, and Thomasville. Stanley took his art in a new direction in 1995 when he became enthralled with the scratchboard technique as a medium that captures and enhances the texture of fantasy creatures. Wonderfully creepy and makes me think of a short horror story that freaked me out so much I had trouble reading the rest of the book. Thankfully when I got back around to trying the other stories they weren't as memorable :)
